We stayed here for 4 nights,it was our second stop on our 2 week tour of Scotland. We absolutley loved this this site. Brilliant helpful owners. Enjoyed the village too. We are in the olive tree twice,lovely food & then we used the pub once & that was also lovely. I’d highly reccomend a stay here.

What can I say about this site other than what a great site, well maintained and looked after, individual shower rooms were kept immaculate always spotless. Sharon and Gillian were the perfect hosts nothing was a problem to them always on hand to help, must also mention Don too who worked tirelessly. Perfectly placed close to the village and plenty of dog walks which we enjoyed. Spent 6 nights here and will definitely return soon a real gem that was recommended by friends. Again can't thank the staff enough for all that they do and did for their customers.

A very well run camping site - probably one of the most comfortable sites we have stayed on in the last 10 years. Individual bathroom facilities excellent; warm and clean. Site ideally placed for exploring the wonderful surrounding area and its history. A very short walk into the village with adequate stores, pubs and a lovely café plus a regular bus service into Carlisle. Thank you Gillian and family!

Fantastic little site. Everything is immaculate. Photos don't do it justice, despite them being lovely. Showers are clean, hot, no continuously having to press them on, can adjust the temperature ample coat hooks, a couple of chairs and there's even a shelf for your toiletries. Simple things but all add up to the best shower block I've ever been in. Brilliant site, will definitely be back.

We had a 3 night stay with our motorhome, the site is in the heart of the village, so shops and pubs are only minutes walk away. It is a spacious, extremely well maintained site, the shower/toilet block was immaculate. The staff couldn't have been more approachable and helpful

A brilliant site. We stayed 4 nights in Feb 2022. The site was quite and very clean. Facility were brilliant and exceptionally clean. We had two dogs with us and there was lots of walks around the area, the village was dog friendly too. Everyone was helpful and welcoming. The Sisters who ran the site were lovely. What a beautiful caravan park and what lovely owners! I would highly recommend staying here! They really couldn’t have done more for us! Stayed for 9 nights on a huge serviced pitch. With my bad back and knee, I (normally fiercely independent ) wouldn’t have managed to access the underground freshwater tap but luckily my travel companion took over. Anyone with mobility issues would have difficulty in that respect. With temperatures of -4, it was a blessing having the tap protected underground. The washroom facilities are next to none, spotlessly clean, private en-suites. We both fell ill on the second day and were then isolating so unable to get out and about to explore the neighbourhood as we would have liked. The staff went above and beyond, even advising that we could have some emergency groceries delivered to the Motorhome. The staff at the Health Center just outside the caravan park were absolutely wonderful, too, and delivered meds to us. 🙏🏽 We are very grateful to everyone who came to our rescue🙏🏽 Hopefully we will return to this delightful spot to have a proper, relaxing holiday🙏🏽 We enjoyed watching the resident ducks in the duck pond and we were visited also by two roe deer. Loads and loads of different birds - it was a delight watching them! Very sincere thanks for taking care of us!!!!💝

Absolutely amazing little site, every facility you could possibly need tucked away within a lovely little village. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. Nipping clean and quiet. We had to leave early due to an emergency at home but we will most definitely return .LOVED IT!

5***** This is an amazing site always immaculate toilet/shower area. Always there to help no matter what I went with a tourer 3 kids and 2 dogs the was no problems with them helping to up my van on pitch as I don't have a mover. I can't fault this site in any way what so ever.. Not a problem with the WiFi connection (and that was 7 devices) Infact I will return in the next2-3 weeks. And can't wait.

Stayed here for 3 nights in our motorhome at the beginning of June after being a recommendation. Lidalia is a fantastic site - only a few minutes to riverside and woodland walks and yet just a short walk into the village with great cafes and butcher. Facilities are top class and staff are really friendly. Wonderful walks in the area, particularly the forest trails - we found it really nice not have to drive anywhere in our motorhome the whole time we were there. Particularly recommend The Olive Tree cafe for breakfast and lunch.
