Just spent a lovely long weekend at your site. It was everything and more that we had hoped - lovely and peaceful with fantastic toilet/shower facilities and very friendly owners. Managed some lovely walks with Jack (the Lab) and even the weather was kind to us. Thanks for letting us stay on your super site - we will be back!

5. Stayed here 14 times in the last three years and can not fault it. It is so peaceful and the scenery is outstanding thanks to Eddie Shona & family The facilities are 1st class can't wait to go back. We always have a great time there, and have to mention the kindness in the local community.

Thank you Eddie and Shona for the excellent site you have created, immaculate and very imaginative Facilities making the experience onsite brilliant. This is a site that almost everyone would want to return to and for us its a definite to just see once again both of you in action trying to house the ducks for the night lol.

Having been at this site many times, we feel like part of the community. This is a beautiful well kept site owned by a friendly family where nothing is too much trouble. Hope to see you soon Eddie.

Just returned from 4 nights at Lidalia. Beautiful well kept camp site. Everything is immaculate. Toilets...well what can I say "outstanding". Lovely wee village and locals all said hello as we walked by. It rained every day but didn't spoil our holiday. Every time it went off we were out for a walk with our dog or a ride on our bikes. Had a lovely meal in the "Grapes" hotel on our last night. We intend to visit again in the Summer when hopefully it wont be so wet!

Just spent three nights for the first time at your beautiful site. The site is a credit to you and your staff. Very well maintained grounds, well fed ducks and the toilet block beats some 4 star hotels. Will definitely be calling again for a longer stay.

Your site is well kept and there were ducks , pheasents, red squirels and the deer that every evening would walk across the bank . I hope you enjoyed your break we will be back next summer . We have just returned from Lidalia having spent 6 nights over Easter this is our second visit and we had another really wonderful holiday, honestly if you have not yet visited this site do yourself a favour and make a trip you will not be disappointed its one of the best sites that we have visited and we can't wait to return Eddie, Shona and Isabel are wonderful and make you feel so welcome. Dear Eddie, My wife and I recently had a break at your lovely site from 18th March for 6 nights 2012 and we would like to thank yourself and everyone involved in running the site. We both work long hours and use our caravan to escape and relax. We achieved this and more at Lidalia in a peaceful and relaxing excellently managed site in a beautiful setting. Another brilliant Hogmanay! We love visiting Lidalia no matter what the time of year! Even the pesky midgies add to the pleasant atmosphere that Eddie and his family have created. We look forward to our next trip north!!

We spent our first Hogmanay hear at Lidalia recommended to us by some fiends, what a wonderful time we had. Everything was arranged for us a wonderful buffet Entertainment and just lots and lots of fun and laughter, a great way to spend New Year all thanks to the hard work of Eddie, Shona and the family each of whom go well beyond the call of duty.The site is a Credit to them, everything is absolutely spotless, doesn't matter when you visit the toilet block its always in tip top condition. Eddie & Shona, Once again we have really enjoyed our stay at Lidalia. We love the site, the walks, the friendly locals and your new shower blocks are great. We do appreciate all your efforts and hard work in making Hogmanay great fun and very special. What a great night again, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Well what a gem of a site. This site has everything you need from Lovely clean toilet block to pitches are of a good size, some of them are fully serviced which is a bonus and well kept. Eddie and Shona were extremely friendly and helpful which made our stay a very pleasant experience. Excellent location in the village, especially for those who are wanting to cycle the 7 stanes as only 2 miles away from the start. The village has everything you need including the pub (x3), butchers, newsagents and supermarket.

Hi Shona, Eddie and Isobel, so sorry input is late-been busy. Just like to say we had onother wonderful stay at your lovely spotless park! Thanks to Shona for our daily, every morning. Nothing was too much trouble. Shona and Eddie couldn't do enough to make your stay delightful!Everything and everybody was just perfect! Even the weather! Missed the Squirrels though. Best site i've ever stayed at.Eddie and Shona are the perfect hosts,well kept,beautiful toilets. The village is lovely, great butchers shop, nice pub, hotel every thing you need in one little village.

just getting used to the hustle and bustle of city life after a superb 10 day stay . Such a quite and peaceful site the villagers are so friendly. Thank you Eddie and Shona for a well kept site and your friendlyness. We will be back. Ron & Cynth Davies.

Thankyou for a very enjoyable nine night stay. We both thought the site was really lovely, very peaceful and very well laid out. The ladies shower block was the best ever. Everyone we met in Newcastleton was very friendly and we throughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return again.
