Hi Shona and Eddie, just home and I have to say we didn't want to leave! Your warm welcome and friendliness cannot compare to anywhere else!It has been great! Wish we could say the same about the weather though! Still, we will be back, you can count on that. Everything was and is SPOTLESS, and the new Toilet Block is excellent! We even got some Fantastic 'Photos of the Squirrels too, which was a bonus! Thank you again for the delivery of the paper every morning too Shona. We love Lidalia,its pretty and neat, Right in the village, just off the main street. You'll get a warm welcome, whatever the weather, Meet Eddie and Shona and have a good blether. There are shops and a golf course and places to hike, 'Seven Stanes' if you cycle, just bring your bike. In August the 'Holm Show' on the banks of the Liddle, And traditional music with pipe, drum and fiddle. But the locals themselves are the village life blood, All stop for a word and that's got to be good. If you hanker to live at a much slower pace, Then book up a pitch at 'Mr.Ed's' place.

We have stayed on several occasions and can say of all the places we have stayed throughout Britain this is most friendly and the one we enjoy the most. Lovely people and lovely surroundings. Last week visited and I can say the Ladies Toilet\Shower block is the best we have come across. Thanks again for a lovely stay

We would like to thank you for a super holiday ,Your site is Beautiful and queit .We had lovely weather hot and sunny for the whole visit .Nothing was to much trouble for you and Shona the newspaper was in the awning every morning before 8am . The Village people were frendly and helpful .
