We had a fantastic visit here in August 2020 - sorry for the delay in posting! Such a well run site with a very friendly team who always had time for a chat. Spotless and very quiet. Just perfect. We were even adopted by a cat :-) We would have been back had it not been for lockdown - will definitely return as soon as we are allowed.

Love this site! We have visited a few times over the last couple of years and just love it. Eddie and Shona are lovely helpful people who are very highly thought of through out the village. We last visited valentines weekend this year which also was my birthday. My daughter sent flowers to me as a surpise and Shona delivered them to the motorhome door wow thank you they made my day. Looking forward to getting ack down soon.

Cannot fault the site, absolutely lovely. Only criticism is that we could not access wifi having tried several times. No refund was forth coming even though non access to wifi was checked, just told that we should have found someone that evening to help with connection.
Mick from Lidalia would like to thank yourselves for the view on the site, but would like to mention that 95%of people can get on to wifi with no problem, but some devices need extra stages to connect, which is why we give out a out of office hours contact number if any problems are encountered and are sorry to hear that you are unhappy with the service and will give you a full refund for your £3 on your next visit

Enjoying a great holiday at Lidlia. This is the best site we have stayed on in many years of caravaning. The location is idea and site is well maintained with the toilets/showers spotless. The landscaping is immaculate and the staff or Eddie and Shona are friendly to one and all with help and advice on tap at all times. The village is great as well with shops and pubs to help any holiday along. The Grapes is very good with first class food. Lidalia is well worth a visit whether for a weekend or a longer holiday.

We have just got back from a weeks stay here, what a great site, location is fab, good pubs and shops within staggering distance and the dog walk from the site is excellent. The facilities are great, clean and well looked after and everyone we met were extremely friendly. The local area is great too, we walked for miles and also went biking at the local 7 Stanes trails in the forests. Can recommend the Grapes hotel for food, we ate their most nights, good choice and excellent locally sourced meat. Another site to add to our go to list. Jo, Mark, Murphy and Finn :)

Just returned from spending our first New Year at Lidalia staying three nights. What a great time we had at the party held in the village hall, hosted by Eddie and Shona the caravan site owners. We were made welcome by everyone and enjoyed the entertainment. The site itself is extremely well maintained with the best shower/toilet block we have seen. There are many walks to do straight from the site, we look forward to doing many more when we return in the near future and years to come. Several drinking establishments close by, we ate at The Grapes twice, the food being excelant. We have found a lovely site close to home. Thankyou for all your hard work. John & Josie

we have just spent 4 nights over christmas at the lidalia site and will definitely be returning soon, very accomadating and friendly, 100% clean, fantastic showers. there was plenty of wildlife inside and outside of the site also you are right in the centre of the village which has some lovely walks, the river is just 2 mins away which is pleasant to walk along. In the village are 3 inviting and friendly pubs making you feel welcome,a butchers which sells lots of good meat which we did sample and was gorgeous, a antique shop which was full of wonderful things, a corner shop with groceries, papers etc, a hardware store which sells things for your caravan/motorhome if you forget them, i could go on and on it is just a wonderful quiet relaxing place to visit,if there is one thing i would say to do is have a look around the village then go into the Grapes pub and look through a book which they have in there on the history of the village and it does really give you an insite of how things used to be.

We stayed for 2 nights late October 2013. A great location literally in the heart of the village, our pitch was large and level. Exceptionally clean & spacious shower rooms (more than a 3'/1m square cubicle you normally get). Perfect for walkers & the MTB trails look good fun too. I would also highly recommend the dog friendly Grapes Hotel for food. Site hosts very friendly...all round great.

2nd to 7th August 2013 This is my third visit to Lidalia. What a site good size pitches, plenty of water and waste points and immaculate. The toilets are the best I have had the pleasure of using in over 20 years caravanning and they are spotless. The area is flat and a pleasant walk into the village about 5 mins where there are 2 hotels and a pub. The bowling green is just next to the site. I will return soon. Thanks Eddie and Shona

We are a family of 6 plus a dog and had a fantastic stay at Lidalia. The site and facilities were immaculate and the pitch a very generous size. The owners were very helpful and welcoming. Having visited numerous other sites, this is by far the best!

Hi Eddie,Shona, and Isobel, my sincerest apologies for not writing in your guest book sooner! Again,we wish to thank all of you for our lovely stay on your caravan site...we needed a rest, and we got it! Shona was very very helpful as per usual, with her unwavering energy (I don't know where she gets it???!) and not forgetting her Dads'! We had a lovely stay there. Weather was soso, but what does that matter, the site is immaculate, toilets can't be faulted, and the friendship is priceless! Many thanks to you all, and looking forward to seeing you all again in the near future...love from Chris and Terry and the pugs...!
